Geospatial Campus, Kochi and the Post Graduate and Research Department of Biochemistry at T. K. M. College of Arts and Science (TKMCAS), Kollam have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen academia–industry partnerships and foster innovation-driven learning. The MoU was signed at an Industry–Academia Interaction Programme hosted in the college Seminar Hall.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Sheeba M. J., Principal, TKMCAS, with a welcome address by Dr. Ajinza A., Head of the Department of Biochemistry, and coordinated by Dr. Hari Sankar H. S., Assistant Professor. Mr. Ajith Chandran, Managing Director, Geospatial Campus introduced the organisation, and Dr. Jessen George, Head Academics, Geospatial Campus delivered an expert lecture on “Smart Water, Safe Communities: Integrating Geospatial Data and Machine Learning for Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA) in Urban Water Distribution Networks”, followed by an interactive session with faculty and students.
